OK, Maybe it's just me, maybe it's the lag...maybe a bug...but I'll ask here first to see if anyone else is experiencing this problem or knows of it. At one time, I KNOW I was able to link a maximum of 230 or so prims in one linked set. Last night after toying with somecreations of mine, I attempted to link a total of 203 prims together and got the error message that the objects were too far apart. Now I know that this couldn't be so, as all of the 203 prims to be linked were within 1 meter of each other. So...does anyone know what gives here? Have the Prim Limits for a linked Set been lowered, or Have I run across a bug? Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks in Advance

Thanks in Advance I seem to recall that you can get linking failure if the distance between the prims is too small for the total of their sizes; could that be a possible explanation?

Well, unfortunately, I thought about this as well....and "stretched the pims out to cover a broader area, but to no avail

I don't know what you are linking, but very small prims have a smaller linking distance.

From: Osprey Therian I don't know what you are linking, but very small prims have a smaller linking distance. Well...seems I've figured it out....and yes, I am linking VERY small prims. I had one piece that was a prim total of 160 small objects linked together...I then attempted to link another set of 34 prims to the 168 prim Linked set and it wouldn't work...said they were too far apart....soooo...I unlinked EVERYTHING....and attempted to link all 203 prims at the same time, and VIOLA! it worked. Seems like a bug to me, cause I never changed the distance or size when trying both methods, yet one worked and one didn't...anyway, thanks for the input guys, Justr took a little playing about to get it to do what I wanted it too
