I haven't seen a transcript from yesterday's roundtable. Did it take place?

Scarlett did a great job covering the main topics, etc.

Yes, it took place. It might as well not have, though. Turned out to be a complete farce and a total waste of time.

I read it but wasn't too encouraged or impressed. I still can't understand that LL is having profit problems which translates to lack of decent customer service and endangering the longterm viability of LL and SL, while at the same time expecting...no, demanding...that the approximate 20% of the player base pay for and subsidize the other 80% of the player base on free accounts.

To me it's just absolute hypocracy; LL must remain financially feasible, yet forcing the cost of all the free accounts to reach one million users upon those that actually pay to play SL. It's just mindboggling to me, and as long as LL can't see how completely absurd that is, we might as well talk to a prim wall. The IQ level is the same...

Addendum: All that I can say is that I cut my tier down from a full sim to half a sim when they removed DI and dwell incentives. If they now insist to raise tier prices in order to cover the bandwidth and useage by the massive majority of free account users then I'll have to of course reciprocate by cutting my monthly tier cost even more, or even to the point of "if you can't beat them, join them" and go free account/tierless ourselves (four accounts). It would be much, much cheaper to pay to play SL that way instead of "pay more and more to let all the free accounts play for free"....
