Howdy,

Newb question :P

My landmarks set in the map are out of control, multiples from the same stores etc.

How can I edit/delete these? I've looked in my inventory landmark folder and there are very few in there compared to the massive amount from the map view.

Thanks!

yes, I'd be interested in answers to this one! I very quickly gave up using the map landmarks for this very reason :(

Landmarks from ANY DIRECTORY will end up in there. :D

Best way to clean house in your inventory would be to use the Modify Filters and switch off everything that *isn't* landmarks, and then search for a single vowel (a,e,i,o,u .... and sometimes Y --- 99.8% of landmarks have a vowel in them somewhere!!) to display ALL your landmarks in ALL directories. Then delete all the unusedd/repeats. :)

The landmark list on the map shows every landmark you have, not just those in your landmarks folder. It includes all the ones shops stick in with their products - e.g. when you get a folder with an outfit, it usually has shirt, trousers, etc., maybe a notecard and usually a landmark to the shop. Similarly for most products.

All these landmarks show up in your map list. I'm not sure if landmarks in the trash show up.

The only I've found to deal with it is to periodically go through every folder in my inventory deleting landmarks I dont want.

EDIT: posted at same time as above, which has a much better way of housekeeping.

Thanks Psyra :)

Of course as soon as I posted, after trying to figure this out for weeks, I realized that I can delete the landmarks from each folder of an item I have bought to get rid of the them.

I will definately try your sugesstion, thanks again.

Thanks Wulfric,

The light just went on about all those landmarks in the individual folders.
