Missing inventory

So, here's my situation. Monday night, I had a scripted object that wasn't working properly, after I thought things had settled down. After all, the blog had said things were getting back to normal.

Thinking the object needed a reset, I picked it up, and decided to rerez it. When I tried to put it back down, the rez attempt failed... And the object didn't return to my inventory. If I remember correctly, if was set No Copy/Mod/Transfer. I was not the creator of the object. It was purchased from a vendor.

I've submitted a bug report, and contacted the Help Request line three lines but nobody seems to be able my simple question: Where did my object go, and when am I getting it back?

Log out, go to preferences and clear your cache. Log back in and search for anything in your inventory. It will take a few minutes for it to fill back up.

If you don't find it then, it may be lost with my shoes. I can never find them either, especially when I am in a hurry to get dressed because I have been a bad girl.

If it doesn't show, go back to where you got it, explain the situation and ask for another one please.

Well, that is exactly what I was afraid of.. That it was lost in database heaven. Oh, well, I'll know better next time. THanks for the feedback, guys.
