Have prim counts going through the roof- did a sim restart and one joined area went from 1,221 prims to 1,373- any idea whats going on? even a "now now dont cry" would be appreciated.....

Could be anything, really. Such as prim duplication via glitch or the prim counting routine is fubar'd for the day. There are 'ghost' prims that hang out and drive up prim counts and that wonderful 0,0,0 bug that sends things to the corner of the sim and buries them there.

Sadly, this does seem to be a part of SL. Try a support ticket, I guess?

ok so im not insane! whew
i too am having that issue , one minute my prim count is 650 the next its 700+ then back down to 300...its been ok today so far but you should have seen teh hubbeh and i flying all over lookin for the extra prims

Well we are down to 0 (zero) prims available and one resident has a temp rezzer thats going ballistic trying to temp rez with no prims to use.....

Tested it- we removed 95 prims- within 2 minutes it was down to 19 prims available

This was happening to me on some SIMs a month or so back. Never did figure it out, but I knew the count was extremely wrong

Problem Solved!!!

My partner solved the prim insanity- noticing a pattern in the prim increase, and helped by the appearance of a naked submissive who happed to fall asleep on the deck of a tenant's house... where as we all gathered around her, Razitra happened to notice a script error message-while speculation and accusations abounded Raz continued to ponder-"eventually, the pieces fell together... 38 prims .. error messages... wonky couch stuck in the wall of the house.. a temp rezzer - and that was it" one of the residents had a "dapci" temp rezzer that went insane! it pumped out couches one after another after another- in total a 38 prim couch times 36 of them ate up 1.368 prims!
