Skirting a migraine, so not up to much in the RL. Nothing is working in SL can't even change my group so no building. The sim I'm on is devoid of people, so I'm taking pictures; hay it works Changed my draw distance to 512 last night. It's rather amazing, not only how nice it looks, but how surprising little lag it has induced. It takes a while for everything to rez, but once it has I can move around the entire sim freely with no over walking your draw distance lag. Yes, the flying is excellent, no more slamming into building because they haven't rezed

I think the trailer park sims are cool. What's that big chain in the background?

very cool, I need to attempt building some trailers to add to the sim I am working on
a version of the ghetto/slums a combination of stuff I got for free, stuff I built myself and stuff purchased by myself and/or the sim owner
I am attempting to make a sim sized town that has the feel of the ghetto/slums/bad side of town, whatever people call it
it has the low income housing section, the hobo vacant lot, a playground and stores and eventually the older run down mall. I want to add a small trailer park with run down trailers and some smallish trashy homes complete with the car in the yard on cinder blocks
so far the people that have seen it love it (sorta inspires ppl who enter to RP even though it is not a RP sim) the housing will be rentable (very cheap) as will the stores and there will be the contrast of the higher class office building that will be renting out offices
I like the place and am not over concerned if it doesn't rent, it is just fun to go to
and it will have a sandbox area as well that ppl can come in and build stuff (not huge but not tiny either)
PS those trailers do look cool, did you build them or are they for sale somewhere?

for sure and wow I went to the trailer park pictured here and damn it is nice
good job
LOVE the trash/dump area LOL should have some dumpsters in there to go dumpster diving LOL
PS I got there by putting the sim name in the log into region area
(bypass the teleporting)

I believe most all the trailers are for sale the next sim over. I could give better info if SL would let me, seems most everything is non functional right now. I was in the process of building a small trailer my self, but can't do anything now . It was coming together nice, 30 prims, just needing doors and final texturing. "should have some dumpsters in there to go dumpster diving LOL" should have looked harder there is one next to the music store I believe.
