loggin trouble for 4 days

every time i open SL to login i get the crash logger coming up and another message with it saying toucan ipc window: secondlife.exe -- application error
the instruction @ 0x00000000 reference memory @ 0x00000000. the memory could not be4 read click ok to terminate the program. any suggestions or help would be greatly appreiciated

Have you tried reinstalling the client?

yes i tried that it still didnt do anything different
