I've recently gotten back into SL and I've noticed that the Xstreet forums are gone, and have been merged with this one. Now they were some good forums, lots of helpful business advice and regular people.
The classified forums on here seem to be the only business related forums, and the viewcount there is pretty poor, so is there a business related forum i'm missing? A community with regular threads? Not 2 posts a week kind of thing. Can someone point me in the right direction or at least let me know what's going on in that department?

LL nuked the XStreet forums and set up Commerce forums here:
https://blogs.secondlife.com/community/commerce They are not the liveliest place on the web. Any controversial topics get moved into a special "Merchant's Roundtable" area, which is not visible to mere mortals. I have no idea how you get to be a member of that, not being a merchant. SLUniverse has a pretty decent business forum now, and I imagine Second Citizen might as well. You may want to take a look at those alternatives, as well as slapt.me.

The best business forum so far is the "Virtual Business" forum at SLU
http://www.sluniverse.com/php/vb/virtual-business/ More than just a merchants forum, it covers a range of land issues, web sales vending, in-world, etc... There really isn't anything comparable anywhere else. Sadly, a serious business forum is one thing that has always been lacking here in the official forums. _____________________
