I see search is down and does not seem to be coming back anytime soon. So just wondering when we are going to start the free week again for classifieds. This just happen not that long ago.

By the way... Why do we even have a beta test grid when it seems everything that goes into production does not work?

Unfortunately not enough people are prepared to help out on the beta grid. Even though it's seen an upsurge in popularity in recent months due to voice and sculpties, I suspect many are there for the entertainment and ignoring any bugs they come across.

Good point. I have never been on it myself but maybe I will check it out.

Thanks.

Kinda hard to test the beta grid when it crashes if more than 200 people log in :( Noticed the online numbers on the main grid this last 3 days? Lucky to reach over 35k.. Wonder if people have finally had enough of LL's crap. I've been playing Entropia, myself. Although not as good as SL (used to be) it's a 10000x's more stable and you get pretty much instant help if you need it

Entropia is 'ok' for playing now and again, but you soon miss the 'non-parental care' that is evident in SL, buying from talented and skilled people that can spread their wings in the SL enviroment, creating something yourself from a basic collection of prims, and not being spoon fed 'all the things that you never knew you wanted from the likes of Sony'.

Totally agree with you AWM, it's nowhere near up to the standard SL is ment to be. I just like the fact there's no issues with everything never working (for me anyway) and you can sit back and relax after RL day to day stress. Hopefully SL will return to how it was over a year ago, although I won't be suprised if this is the begining of the end for it :(

Many people who have tried teh beta grid with the intention of finding and reporting bugs have become disillusioned by the many reported and known bugs found on the beta grid that makes it to live. Add in the many bugs that don't show up in the beta grid but do make it to live due to LL's very poor version control and the beta grid becomes an exercise in futility.
