what viewer is needed to access the Uma grid? Where do you get this viewer? What are the command arguments needed to access it properly?

Uma is quite out of date, so no current viewer will be able to access it. It requires a viewer speaking 1.13.2.

More specifically which one of the 1.13.2 versions? I have the install file for 1-13-2-12. Will that work?

The command line for the Aditi grid, for an example, is "C:\Program Files\SecondLifeAditi\SecondLifePreview.exe" -user userserver.aditi.lindenlab.com -loginuri https://login.aditi.lindenlab.com/cgi-bin/login.cgi -helperuri http://preview-aditi.secondlife.com/helpers/ -settings settings_beta.

What changes need to be made to the arguments to access the Uma grid? I'm thinking just use the loginuri, changing aditi to uma.

I think it is public, available for access by open source clients.

Anyone have or know where to get a compiled version of an opensource client that can access Uma?

Curious,

Perhaps a little background, what is the Uma grid?

Uma is a small (and now outdated) grid meant for open source client testing.

Viewer 1.13.2.12 should work on Uma. Its command line arguments are noted on the wiki:

http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Test_Grid

However, I seem to recall problems logging into Uma even before the 1.13.3 switchover.
