Spurious authentication error during land / Linden purchase?

Hi all,

I'm testing some Buy Land functions and sometimes get this error message:

"Cannot buy now: There as been an error while fetching land buying information. Can't authenticate you, please contact [email]support@secondlife.com[/email]."

Doesn't seem to happen all the time. Has anyone seen this before?

Gosh yes. I haven't bought land for a while...but I recall it happening to me a few times in November. Teleporting out and back in again would resolve it.

It happens from time to time. It seems to happen most when there is high load on the servers. I would guess that while trying to fetch the info a timeout occurred and nothing more. If you try again, it will usually work.
