Yep same here. It did announce them going offline though, but never coming online, even when I knew a friend did.

Friendslist is very slow to load, search seems to be messing up terribly too; it finds every group but most of the shops and other locations seem missing.
On the up side, there seems to be much less delay in teleporting.

Friends list - is anyone working on it?

My friends list is there, but online status is mostly not showing, even when I am standing with the person. The status of new friends do show up.
Do people have to be online to offer friendship? If so, what a pain to do as one person suggested to redo, since you can't tell that they are online to offer.
This is something I would hope LL is fixing.

It could be that the new update has slowed down the landbots/searchbots/capitolizebots ability to zip in and out of sims. With less bots zipping around, there is more bandwidth between sims to actually allow avatars to travel in peace. down with bots down with campers (more bots..hehe) give the world back to the people |

Or, it could just be that half the population can't log in, or if they do their friends list is screwed up, their friends aren't receiving their IM's, transactions aren't working for hours and objects are failing to rez and then disappearing from inventory, so they give up and log out. With hardly anybody logged in, I'm sure there's a lot less lag and teleporting is faster.  |
