First off I like to say I am still using IE6.

Now for the problem.

Up until today Slurl's worked perfectly for me but this afternoon is a different story.

I click on a published SLurl in the forums

for example
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Chartreuse/229/107/22

The Slurl page comes up as normal and I click Teleport Now.

I get an application error it says:

secondlife/Chartreuse/229/107/22 application not found.

I click on the ok button then I get another pop up

Internet Explorer can not open this internet helper secondlife/Chartreuse/229/107/22
The protocol specified in this address is not valid. Make sure the address is correct and try again

It is not just this SLurl address but I have tested others with same results :(

I have cleared both my sl cache and IE Cookies and Temp files, this has not fixed it.
Has anyone out there got any other suggestions?

Just curious, does the land store map work for you?

This problem might be caused by a conflict introduced by installing or uninstalling the FirstLook viewer.

If you've installed either the standard viewer or FirstLook viewer at its default location (typically in C:\Program Files), then you can try to set the registry entries from the zip file below:

http://targetomega.com/sl/dist/slurl_fix_20070301.zip

View the README.txt file on how to apply the fix. Let me know if it worked (or not.)

When you click the teleport, it should be attempting

secondlife://Chartreuse/229/107/22

and not

secondlife/Chartreuse/229/107/22

as your error message would seem to indicate. Why it is missing the ":/" is beyond me.

WOW ty so much huggggggggggggggz <3 that worked :D

I had First look but removed it earlier today when I was unable to play slingo using First Look, so I reverted back to the normal viewer.
