I'm sure you all remember everyone's passwords having to be changed due to the security breach in September. Well, when I tried to amend mine I bodged up the security questions (having not been online for a month or so I'd forgotten most of the info) and ended up being blocked from the page. Now I can't get back in.
I tried calling Linden Labs on the phone four times, left messages twice, and got no response.
I sent messages to technical spport and billing support, and got no response that way either.
I've even had to spend the money on an alt to get into the forums and ask for help (my original Avatar is Snowy Forti). I want to get back into my original account. How else is there left for me to change my password?

I think they now purge accounts after 60 days of inactivity. So you might be out of luck, unless it was a paid account.

Try askin Live Help in-world who to escalate this to before you lose your account.

Did you call during business hours? I believe they are 8-5 PST (so 11-8 Eastern).
If Live Help doesn't work, you might find online Lindens and IM one of them, preferably someone who regularly does support/help/concierge.
EDIT: I'm not recommending that you pester Lindens, but asking them the right course of action should not bother too many of them and only take a few seconds of their time.

It wasn't a paid account... I hope it's still there. O_O; Then again, if it wasn't, it would have said so when I tried to change my password, right?
I've called during business hours, but every time I tried there was nobody available.
I'll try asking Live Help when I get home from work. Thanks guys. :3
EDIT Hang on, I just had a quick look around... I've been off for more than ninety days. I'll have been purged. :_(
I might as well just start again under this account. >:| Dammit.

I reset the password for one of my alts a week or two ago. I believe it had been well over 60 days (more like 3 or 4 months) since I'd last used that account, so the purging thing is probably not an issue.
Snow, I'd suggest you E-mail LL, and wait for a response. In my experience, they're usually pretty good about responding quickly. Just don't expect it to be instant.
And yes, I know I'm probably cracking the lid on a delicious can of worms for the "Lindens can do no right" crowd with that suggestion, and I'm sure many will flock to spout the usual "LL doesn't do customer service" or "LL is a bunch of liars" or "Philip plays golf with Satan and Hitler every Friday", but honestly I've never had an account inquiry go unanswered. My history as a customer dealing with LL has been no worse than it has dealing with any other tech company. In most cases, it's actually been much better (hello, Dell reps, learn to speak English already, will ya?). I'd be very surprised if the same weren't really true for everybody else, no matter how much certain people love to complain about anything and everything.
Anyway, as Marcus said, as long as you're trying to get a hold of them during business hours, the turn around time is usually very reasonable. Good luck.
Also, on a side note, as a public service message, people, use real answers to security questions. That's why they're there. Using fake answers and hoping to remember them months or years later is an invitation for disaster.

I already did, and got the responce just now. ^^ I've been kinda cranky over the past couple of days so my patience was slim. They said, however, to call the office again. Support can't change passwords. I'm just gonna have to keep calling until I catch someone. BTW, I used a real answer to the security question... but it was "favourite book." X3; Favourites change with time. (Knocks his apparently hollow noggin) My brain forgets things. :B

Your message prompted me to try again to get myself reactivated after the Great September Password Loss, and I got through, and all my stuff was still there.
