Scanner Script stopped working

Anyone noticed their scripts not working?

Since the update, my scanner/stalker doens't work. It would let me know when other people were close by.....is there something I could do to make it work again. Its my FAVORITE gadget, as it lets me know when people come to the island so I can greet them. I'm LOST without it

The Age Scanner I wear (and make) was going berserk with dataserver communication errors last night. If your scanners use the dataserver also (which many do, to reliably fetch certain avatar data) it may seem that they've stopped working. Hopefully the Lindens will fix the dataserver soon (well, they'll have to, since SL uses it a lot too) - I don't think there's anything that the scripters can do, though..

Also, I've seen a lot of people recently with "payment info used but not on file" (a "special" flag combination that only scripts can detect, and which usually only shows up for Lifetime members or Lindens) - I suppose people's credit cards are starting to expire..

Almost nothing I own is working correctly. The poseballs on my furniture don't work, my hot tub doesn't work, my scanner doesn't work, my security orb doesn't work. I appears that nothing that uses scripts is working. What is the deal?

The tool I use has both av and object scanners. The AV scanner was working fine, albeit a bit slow. The object scanner has been silent.

Time to bug report?

This is a shot in the dark, I have no idea how your script works, but the words "dataserver communications errors" made me think of this thread...

I really don't know if they are, would or can be related, but something raised a flag in my brain about it, so thought I would at least point to it.

Alot of my scripts have been having issues since the main (Big suprise!). My house vendor has been going nuts.
