Problems with new client (1.15)

Since the new client

I am "ruthed"
appearance mode does not work
items load very slow
and loading stops halfway
can't wear items ( "can't change appearance until clothing and shape are loaded"
and when moving I am lagging all over the place

I did a reinstall, cleared cache, rebaked, checked drivers (ok), checked connection and firewall ( ok) and defragmented my drives.

Is there someone out there who can de-ruth me?

Eileen, when you open your inventory, are there items other than just folders? Also, do you have another computer that you can try SL on or someone who has an account that will log in from that computer?

Sometimes this happens to me, sometimes it doesn't. After some extensive testing I've ascertained that it depends on where I log in.

But I don't know what about where I log in it depends on. I can log into very complex, prim-heavy, script-heavy areas with no trouble. Some simpler areas cause me no end of grief.

I'm kind of annoyed about this, since my own land is one of the areas where I'm ruthed when I log in. I also can't rez anything there. Though there's no lag when I try to create new objects. It sounds like it's either an asset-server dealie or a client dealie, nothing to do with the region server, but then why does it depend on where I log in?

Asus k8n-e board
AMD Sempron 3300
1024 ram
NVidia Gforce 6200

Folders stay empty, it says "fetching.." but no numbers, no loading.
I can detach hair but with next relog the hair is back.
Like the client lost its memory.

No other cpu, alas.
Good one! I just tried my other account with same client.
No problems there.

Edit: I tried logging in an other area and that works.
Inventory is back.
Looks indeed related to region.

I'm me pretty self again!

Eileen, ouch. That is the bug that bit my husband's account after the last major update.. it took the Lindens to clear it up. I'm glad in your case, the region change fixed it.
