There is something wrong with my balls

Hello all!
I recently bought an Essensual Designs Tender Kiss Animation Set consisting of pose balls (the yellow cube), a T-shirt (wow), and some info. I drag the cube to the ground and the pose balls appear, but when i choose sit, alone or with a partner, we just sit - nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? Anyone with any advice? I bought a couple of others too, same result.
Many thanks,
Louisa

Check the notecard that probably came with it. Those types of animations are usually triggered by a command out to the chat channel, or a non chat channel.

Brilliant post title, btw.

Animation Overrides (AOs) will often interfere with pose balls as well; if you or your friend has one, make sure you turn it off before attempting to sit.

Also make sure you are in a scripting enabled area.

The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

The yellow box to me sounds a lot like the 'object' default which usually 'contains' the item bought. These need 'opening' and 'copy to inventory' before use.
You say that pose balls appear though so I'm not sure on this issue; I've not seen yellow cube animations myself.

No, not in this case; the 'object' box indicates the ballset itself. I have a few Essensuals sets, so I should know :-) Actually, I was there just the other day, and noticed a problem with one of the sets in the showroom...can't for the life of me remember if it was the same one the OP's having a problem with, though...

Go back to Essensuals, and send Torrin, the owner, a notecard through her mailbox; if a lot of people report the same problem, then perhaps an, ahem 'update' fragged one of those scripts too, like it did that TP script.

Thanks all, this has been great. Ive gone and tried the suggestions and it has helped a lot. The greatest problem turned out to be a position shift relative to the placement of the balls. if I put them on a bed we end up in the bed, or on the floor we end up buried in the floor. Once the top half of me appeared horizontally out of a wall like a hunter's trophy! the only thing missing was my antlers. So, i clicked on the ball, chose edit, and adjusted the height, and now things work a lot better. Thankyou again , Louisa

You may have already figured this out, but the easiest way to position the pose balls is to edit them, and while in edit mode, sit on them. You can then drag them around, rotate, and your avatar will move along with them, allowing precise positioning.

Hmm i don't think I've used that brand *giggles*, but usually when you sit on your balls, they put you in a position. XD
