How long before groupland gets reclaimed?

When I purchased my 35.000 sqm of mainland, it was the end of September 2009. The other part (well there also are 2 microparcels that do not bother anyone and are not for sale) was also for sale: 30.000 sqm at 350.000 linden. Pretty steep, when patient this amount can buy two full mainland sims nowadays.

Now comes the fun part: it is still for sale at the same price. At half sims tier, that is serious money to simply waste.

The land is group land, the founder of the group is no longer in search. One of the group members I finally managed to reach a while ago, said he still could access the group funds and did not want to sell any cheaper. Fair enough, if true.

What I am wondering about though, is if there is still tier being paid, and if not, how long would it take LL to reclaim the land? Simply because checking the price each day gets boring, and I would hate it if anyone else bought it when it gets auctioned. Is there anyway to find out these things?

If not, are there any scripts that could monitor a parcel for me, and IM me when anything changes?

It could not hurt to open a ticket.

as long as the group has enough donated tier it will never be reclaimed, it is not unthinkable that even after the group owner cancels the acocunt or gets banned the donated tier still stays in the group, logicly it should not but lazy programming can create that situation.
