Ive been getting spammed for about 3 hours now by someone with notecards, chat log looks like this.

Ive talked to a Linden, who can't figure it out. And filed two abuse reports. I went into busy mode, still does not stop it. Tried to mute the object name, but its impossible to type all of that in because paste does not work. I do not know who the owner is, I see a creator only and muting him did not stop it.

Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this? It crashes my client after about 5 minutes, and literally sends 5 notecards or more a second.

Can't CTRL-V paste it in the mute object box.

Still happening, I think they must have my ID because it stops then when I log back in it starts up again shortly after.

Yes, they have your ID. The object is changing name, but a script can detect its key. I can give you such a script. As for texture spam, notecard spam works grid-wide. That means it is totally impossible to locate the object. But I'm pretty sure a Linden can locate a key grid-wide.

I really hate to bash LL, but I have to agree after this whole episode. It only stopped after I set my status to be offline to all non-friends. Im not sure if it was just coincidence, or if stopped the script from seeing me online, or the people doing it. But im quite frankly appauled that A) there was no help on an abuse ticket during the day after now 10+ hours. B) There was no way to prevent this from happening, INCLUDING busy which is broken!

I will not name anyone, but one Linden actually told me this after looking into it for a few minutes. "Sorry, there is nothing I can do.." Hopefully this is over... but it really worries me.
