Hope this is the right spot ta post this in;

Can anybody tell me of a way to make an av the size of a tiny...preferably even SMALLER? Like, an insect...maybe a large insect like a dragonfly...that size.

Would be cool just for fun, or even Machinima purposes...

In the very near furture there will be an entire line of tiny AVs, even smaller than the Tinies (which I love, by the way!).

These move, walk, type and will even have little tiny clothes and hairstyles!

There will also be a line of less expensive static AVs: Dragonflies, Spiders etc.

IM me if you're interested.

A dragonfly proportional to a human in SL? I would say it's possible but you'd have to hide your mesh avatar body with an invisiprim or some other way. I guess in terms of machinima you could just make a tiny dragonfly prim animal or you can make a human sized dragonfly and make giant props.

on topic, yet off topic, on the transverse side

is it possible to make a AV that is HUGE with feet that take up like 3 sims?

muhahah

Try standing about 30 feet away from your monitor.

Check out the second level of the Grendel's Children mall. There are walls filled with some wonderful, fantastical insect and animal AVs.

I know one maker that sells a 40 foot tall anthro husky avatar... Rocket City Furmeet's merchant area is one place he sells them. And I have seen at least two other huge avatars.

I have seen a butterfly avatar that had about a 24" wingspan. Didn't look closely at it to see how they did it, but that was for sale in the same place where Abranimations sells their stuff, as I recall.
