Where in sl can I drive my car? It seems like I've seen sims where you can drive, I just can't find them.

Is this a stupid question or is it that no one knows?

You can drive in New Paris! I always see cars zooming back and forth. Just please do not hit any pedestrians and please do not scratch the New Paris Eiffel Tower.

:)

I love New Paris, and if I can get a little practice I will certainly drive there. Right now I'm afraid I would run over everything!

Goto Nissan's Islands they have tracks set up on the ground and sky to race around in

Or you could try 'There' - where vehicles work...

After 3 weeks in SL I find it kind of disappointing that vehicles seem more or less pointless. I don't think I've found any reason or opportunity (besides in a sandbox) to rez a car and drive it around. Not that I probably would anyway - the rubberbanding is bad enough crossing sim borders on foot or flying (non-vehicle). Plus I find them rather difficult to steer and avoid hitting people (lol). Which is too bad, because I've seen a lot of really cool vehicles in SL.

At the Stratics Headquarters in Rosieri (near the border of Hector, Laothoe and Gunda) there is a long expanse of Linden road heading off in several directions over a number of sims.

We have a 'vehicle rezzing area' that leads to the road, so if vehicles are your thing then feel free to come along and use it to get onto the road network. Naturally, there's also the sandbox and our Headquarters to browse before you go.

not sure if objects are allowed in the New York sim at Hazeldine (misspelt probably) but there's always Silver Island if there's no racing going on.
