I share three con-joined 512s with my boyfriend (we created a group). Our plot is pretty much undeveloped. We don't keep any permanent structures there. We use it to build, and I occasionally erect backdrops for photography. I'll also be putting up a "store room" for goods sold on SL Exchange. There is occasionally a banline around one of the plots when BF is working out the kinks in scripted objects. It's usually up for a day or two at a time. Otherwise, the only restriction we put up is no-build for non-group members.

One of my neighbors just turned three of his parcels into public sandboxes. While I definitely approve of giving back to the ciommunity, I'd be curious to hear from others who've lived next door to sandboxes. Do you experience a lot of lag? Are visitors generally respectful of the place where the sandbox stops and your space begins?

My store is next to a smallish sandbox like that, and there are no problems from it. There are just generally a couple of people in it who bother nobody, and it's kind of nice to have them around.

Dearly Darlings,

I live buy a fairly large sandbox. The people who run it are charming...however, I did finally turn "building allowed" off in my yard because I was tired of cleaning up trash. Lag was bad before the sandbox moved there...I've noticed no real change, it's still laggy.

Ever Yours,

Mrs. Showdog Tiger
