Maps and sim relocations

Has anyone noticed movement on the map?

Big easy was North of The isle of Nepthys, now it is miles away
The reason I noticed was Big Easy showed and still shows up as a sim while other sims are stil a diamond shape.
I Think it might be the Isle of Nephthys has is the one that moved?

So does actual sim locations (on the map) actually matter?

Do private sims get moved about the grid ?

I remember LL saying a few months ago (on the blog?) that they were moving the private islands outward to make room for the new mainland continent. It seems that estates and attached reservations are held together, but that extra space could be inserted between the unrelated estates?

Also... and I'm not sure about this one... I think an island/estate owner can ask to have their island/estate moved to another location on the map. This would make sense if they wanted to expand, but there was no room around them. I would assume LL charges for this service.
