Access level?

Hi! I just joined and left the tutorial before I was finished ... a friend wanted to TP me to a casino. But, when I got there, I couldn't get in because of my "access level" ... how do I fix the situation so I can go where I want to? I wanna get started having fun!

You probably have to finish the tutorial.

Either that or the casino restricts entrance to those with payment info posted, which means buying some lindens or being a paid member.

That probably means the casino bans people who have no payment info on file. On the SL website's main page, open the "My Account" link, and there is a link off that page where you can enter in credit card information or paypal info. Once that is in, you'll be listed as "Payment Info on file", and will no longer be banned for access to sites that ban "No payment info on file" accounts.

Tp be payment info on file you have to register your payment details, to be Payment info used you have to buy something from LL - such as Land tier or some Lindens on LindenX

To achieve the proper 'access level' clearence requires months of training.
First you must complete Basic Spying techniques 101. This includes three months learning the ideosynchrocies of sheep-bots and the covert techniques it uses to camouflage itself from the mainstream public. After this training is complete you go to 'griefing school', here you learn the tools of trade used in annoyance and mass destruction. For example you learn how to run naked through a fishing camp shouting to the women to have sex with you. The next stage is learning the elements used to construct self replicating grid crashing devices and grey goo machines.
Once you achieve your double O series access level, you can get into the casino after merely submitting your iris to a retinal scan and giving the proper password : 'Schafmaschine'. Enjoy the gambling, while you still can

You're new, and the first place your friend invites you to is a Casino. I'd get some new friends if I were you.......

OK, I've got my credit card active ... that should toggle the payment info on file ... but my avi's profile still shows "no payment info on file" ... ??

They have had some issues getting billing info updated. It should be immediate, but some people have had long delays. If it doesn't fix itself in a few business days, contact the support department.

OK, no moralizing, no judgments about how I use my time ... I found this thread, found some good ideas, implemented them, now have Payment Info Used and still don't have access to casinos like Gold Rush! Is it an age thing? have to be in SL for X amount of days/weeks/months? I know LL is touchy about gaming but this is ridiculous .. again, keep your value judgments to yourself and just feel smug ...

I appreciate the efforts to help a newbie, from those with good intentions!

It just took a few reboots to get the permission to go through. Thanks to you who gave a newbie such helpful advice ... and to the judgmental types, if you have a store, I may spend some of my hard-earned winnings at your place ... )
