Transferring US$ within SL

I think I asked that already a few months ago, but there seemed to be no solution, maybe this time:
A SL friend would like to transfer US$ from her Linden US$ account to my Linden US$ account. We would like to avoid exchanging US$ into L$ first and then exchanging L$ into US$ again loosing money with every change and not knowing how much US$ I will eventually receive. I am talking about SL internal transfer, not using paypal, credit cards, or similar.
I thought about using SLExchange, but they would take a commission. Any other hints?

Wouldn't it be more efficient to use an actual bank to do bank-work?

Get them to select your avi, right click and choose 'Pay' I do it all the time.

There is no solution other than by way of L$. LL will not transfer US$ balance between accounts. If you really want to make a transfer of cash, use PayPal or have your friend mail you a check.

Linden labs doesnt need to recreate every service on the net.

It cannot be done. The Lindens do not provide a means to transfer US$$$ directly to another resident. An idea might be to do a Process Credit Request for the amount you want to transfer to her PayPal account. Other than that, you are stuck with the USD once you cash out unless you buy more Linden (L$) and transfer them to her/him. I would suggest in the future that you give your friend L$ before cashing out.
