Landing point

When I use Search-->Places to locate my own club and then press [Teleport], SL will take me to an uninteresting place on my land between my private house and the club (which is located on the roof of my shopping mall 30 meters higher). People who don't know where to go will most likely stumble into my living room instead of finding the club they are looking for.

I have tried to define a landing point "up there" in the club, but it does not seem to have any effect on the place where people will land using the search feature.

Is this normal, or am I doing something wrong?

you need to set a landing point on your land settings. Right click on your land > goto about land > options tab > set a landing point for teleportees (you have to be standing where you want to them to be TP'd > then press set (Teleport Routing = landing point).

If you are in a private sim it could be that the telehub was enabled and the telehub object was since cleared away.

But everyone in the sim is stuck arriving at the 'old' point where the telehub was.

Just one possibility.
