Inventory Listing goes blank when Friends log on/off

Hi, hoping someone can help me with a really infuriating problem I have been experiencing over past couple of weeks. If I am searching my inventory for items and type eg. "Emery" in search - all items appear and as I am scrolling through to find what I need - I get a Pop up saying "X is online/offline" - however, this blanks out my inventory search and I have to retype "Emery" again and restart my search - seconds later the same ass crashes or logs off and I am back to square one for the 39204832th time!!!! Im tearing hair out trying to change clothes these days because friends popping on and off are making it impossible for me to find stuff in my inventory!! Bizarre I know - would love if someone can give me some help on how to fix this problem. I'm an Emerald user so not sure if this is a possible bug or something??

Yeah, it's a known and infuriating bug in Emerald, which is supposedly fixed in the next release (though that's what they said about the previous release, too). See http://modularsystems.sl/index.php?option=com_agora&task=topic&id=1474

Thanks Innula for your post, glad to know I am not the only one experiencing this. Fingers crossed for a fix on next Emerald update.

I've been having problems using the search field in Inventory (and Inventory in general), and I'm using the Release Candidate viewer. Sometimes I can type in the field, sometimes I can't. Sometimes clicking the Inventory button works, sometimes it doesn't. Meh.
