Am I hallucinating? I cleared my cache and logged in, and lo, there is a little customer survey black box in the corner of the login screen asking if my SL experience is getting better or worse, and why! Is LL surveying, or ... well gosh, I can't think of anything else it could be other than the world's most pointless man-in-the-middle attack. *scratches head* huh!

Yeah but if they get one "better" vote that will be enough for them to call it a day and not tend to the thousands who voted worse.

The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

They need to run a poll to find out the answer to that question?

The only explanation is that they are living in a world of self-delusion.

Hmmm

If you don't make comments then that's feedback lost. Make lots of bullet point, pertinent comments with just the facts not a ton of your personal feelings about it all, THEN give your personal feelings at the end.

I will answer that survey non-anonymously here with me name on!

My experience since last September has been that the SL experience has slowly got better in a three steps forward, two steps backwards sort of way. Recently it has taken three steps backwards though. When I go to clubs other people stay grey for ages and ages and some never rez. That has got worse of late.

oooo - I haven't seen that !!

/me will pay more attention the next time he logs in.

It is rather funny though - like they NEED a surevy to answer that question ? Either they really don't play the "game" or they've decided that the blogs & forum(s) are not representative and are taking the question straight to the "real" people.

For what it is worth - since joining this has been the most unstable I have ever seen SL. But for a while now I've been cutting back on the time I spend in-world & on my contributions to the SL economy so I really don't feel THAT badly done by any longer. Losing a large chunk of inventory amounting to several thousand $L was a good wake up call !!

I've had a survey window pop up on the splash screen twice now...but the dratted thing is borked!!!! How typical. Instead of a link to the survey, it says "Google Error..."

I submitted a JIRA ticket...

I believe you only get 85 characters to comment...

I have not had one yet, so i don't know for sure.... have to be pretty succinct in 85 characters...

The last time I saw a company like LL do a customer satisfaction survey, the results came back decidedly warped.

Don't anyone hold their breath.
