Midian City isn't new, but it's a popular "Cyberpunk" city with a lot of good RPers.
Karamoon is relatively new--it's midieval RP and very well done pair of sims. I've heard good things about Tombstone but never been there. _____________________

Does anyone know of any good modern RP city's aswell. More like actual life without just "sex and murder" for lack of a better term. I used to play in Radian City but it went down the drain so I am now looking for a new city. Thanks for your reply and any others that you can come up with would be a great help!

you didn't indicate what genre you'ld like. By modern do you mean present day modern, in which case i would suggest Carnage Island. Or futuristic modern, then there are other choices.

There's also Zephyr Heights, Downtown and the slum city at about 250 meters above Sonogno - all variations on the run down/dystopian city theme.
Downtown is pretty much just a slightly dingy inner-city area, with a Chinatown section and an elevated train. Zephyr Heights is similar, very detailed, with everything from a movie theater to a convenience store to a huge skate park. The city in Sonogno is a bit challenging to get to (at least for me!) but it's a must-see - it has the most extensive sewer system I've ever seen in SL, and tons of details and free-to-copy stuff. Another cool place is Cellar/Cellar Proper - these two sims have an eerie, almost post-apocalyptic feel, very empty, with bits of discarded machinery, an abandoned house, and a school building that looks like something out of Silent Hill. _____________________

Whilst not totally modern - Caledon is worth a look.

City of Lost Angels (CoLA) in Satellite. Post apocalyptic city inhabited by remnants of the human race, Demons, Vampires, Lycans, Nekos, Supernaturals. Offers both combat and RP and soon to move to an island sim because of it's growing popularity.
