Well sim performance is still dreadful. Physical objects are moving horribly. I had hoped today's maintenance would have fixed it. But nope. Nothing seems to have changed at all.
Is Linden Lab still running 4 sims per server?. I'm starting to wonder if maybe they've decided to increase the number of sims per machine in order to keep up with demand for islands.
Other than a drop in performance, (which is what we have) is there anything to prevent Linden Lab from increasing the number of sims per server?
Please reassure me!

It is 4 sims per physical box, but inside that box are 4 cores. Each core gets 1 sim. Unless you are talking about a void sim, those are 4 per core.

I have not noticed any kind of general sim performance issues of the nature you describe. Are you having these problems in a single location, or wherever you travel on the grid?

It happens all over the grid. But it's only noticable with physical objects. It's known issue. So it's not just me. I'm not craaazy!! Really I'm not!!!

I don't think you are crazy I just wanted some clarfication. And it sounds like a problem you noticed before this maintenance period, so you are not reporting something that happend as a result of today's down time. I really haven't noticed a grid-wide problem - but I don't deal with physical objects very often. Perhaps somebody that does will provide more help.
