I have been searching frantically for someone to perform a wedding ceremony - but I don't know what these people are called. *laughing and blushing* "Minister" didn't return many results and I just don't know what else to call them.
Does anyone know if there is an official term...or at least one that will produce more results?
Thank you in advance.

I think if you just search wedding or wedding chapel you should find what you need. I got married years back and I'm pretty sure my former partner found the venue by searching "wedding".

No, I don't need a venue. I have all that. Just need a person to do the actual, "Do you take this man...." ceremony speech itself.

Search for "wedding ceremony". There's lots of people who will do a ceremont yo join Partners, with or without providing a venue for the event.
A Partnering in Sl has no legal or Church standing. Si, in SL, anyone who has suffucent dramatic flair can perform an in-world "wedding". They don't need to be a Minister, Priest, Rabbi, Wiccan Priestess or whatever fits your desires in real life. Just able to portray one in a way that pleases the participants.
I've done one ceremony myself, at the request of friends. Not my usual line of efforts, however.
If you prefer a particular religious ceremony, search for that religion, and ask around among those who actively practice that religion within SL.

from personal experience... get in touch with rick wake from cobblestone weddings, I've been to a few weddings that he organized and officiated, including my wife and my renewal last summer, and he is simply the best.
