I have upgraded my account to premium status and would like to obtain a 512m piece of land. Do I need to buy from a land auction, or classified? Is there a defined way for a premium user to obtain a small piece of inexpensive land?

Simply search Land Sales/Mainland for 512's.

Hi Zany, try a search on 512 but be careful to make sure it is truly for sale and not a rental.

I bought mine from a classified. I met the owner in world , she showed me the land, and even put it on Hold for me for a couple of days. Take your time. There is no need to get land right away. Find something you like.

Which has been answered many times in the forums.

You can search for land in a variety of ways in the search section of the viewer under the land tab.

If you're buying land to create a business, make sure you understand the relatitonship of prims to land and know how much you need.

Of course, you can rent land, or space in a mall. Build in public sandboxes. It may not be necessary to buy land at all.

To do this, simply filter your search with the "For Sale-Mainland" tab. Any land that comes up will be yours and not a rental.
