I want to get a "job" in SL. Isnt that possible? I did a search and what I found was just for people from USA. I am from Norway and want to get my avatar a job to earn some Limden dollars.

Hi Ada and welcome to SL. Whilst not working myself yet so no authority by far, you could do worse than ask owners of places you visit (and like!) if they know of any vacancies.
One club I frequent was taking on dancers a while back.

This has been discussed many times before, e.g.:

Hello Ada

I am earning a small income from playing Solo Slingo machines.

I am in the process of visiting every place where there is a Solo Slingo machine: calculating probabilities of winning, traffic per machine, whether machine is rigged or not and to what extent, whether there is lag or not, profit/loss etc.

Once I have completed my "task", I will be making all this information available for a small fee!! Gotta earn a crust somehow!

So far I have played (yesterday) 12 machines (for testing purposes only ;) ) and gambled L$121 - won back L$243 - net profit L$122. Ok that may not sound a lot, but actual playing time is approx 10 minutes/machine, so for 2 hours playing time I have netted L$122 or L$61/hour. That by my reckoning is a high paid hourly result in SL bearing in mind that I am not selling anything or camping, easy money?

Good luck with your Second Life.

I find that flipping burgers and then converting that to linden dollars gets me a higher hourly rate. Just putting these easy money schemes into perspective for you.

If you are interested in a job in real-estate management, including furnishing, small constructs etc, contact me in-world.

Hello Ada. You could try the making money course at New Citizens' Plaza for some pointers, and while you're there, why not take courses in other subjects (building, clothing, etc.) and pick-up skills that make you self-sufficient in this world. It's easier to work for yourself than others here, I think. :-)

Approach owners of clubs, or places with recurring events, and offer to run events at times that are "out of timezone" for US players.

There are plenty of non-US players out there too. :)

The original question was "how can I earn Linden Dollars?" - not what can I earn in-world and convert to SL!

Trying to earn in SL, is dis-proportionate to what is achievable in-world and can't be compared - I earn a darn sight more in-world than I could ever earn in SL.

Whilst I am in SL, I would like to make some money, without having to introduce money from in-world to pay my way in SL - clear? Thought not!

I'm always hiring. I own four clubs. I need dancers mostly, but also hosts and promoters as well. IM me in game or do a search under Sliders club/casino.
