Missing Attachments?

In the last couple of months have you lost the use of an attachment from your inventory? When you try to attach it, do you get this message: "Unable to create requested object. Object is missing from database."?

I've had a few customer report issues like this with HUD attachments, but I've also heard of it happening with hair and other items. I wonder how wide spread it is.

Oh, and this isn't about other objects that have been lost when trying to rez them or pick them up. Those seem to be separate issues and I hope they have been fixed already. The attachment issue is ongoing.

I have several items that are so corrupted I don't even get an error message when I try to wear them or rez them in-world.

And I've almost left behind and lost attachments after particularly bad sim crossings.

Many times. Very annoying.

This hasn't happened to me yet. *crosses fingers* Although, the only things I regularly use in my inventory are my furry avatars. Maybe only certain types of items have these problems.

I've never lost an attachment since I logged in the first time in March this year. I hope I never loose an attachment one way or the other...

I've had alot of issues with hair and shapes... I seem to 'reset' upon porting to my original starting ones (that I picked on the website when creating my account)... I then get to play 'find my hair' in my inventory... That though is slightly different...

Not a great sample size for sure. But it's interesting that few people seem to have it happen once. If it happens once, it seems to happen multiple times.

I spent 8 hours total on a major part of a mech suit av I'm working on as well as some other minor parts. I went to log out and when I came back later that day only the part that TOOK THE MOST EFFORT AND TIME was gone...and nowhere to be found in my inventory. I pulled out EVERYTHING named "object" to try to find it.

This was the ONLY time that has ever happened to me. SL had AWESOME timing when deciding to let me experience that bug!!

Fortunately I remembered a lot of what I did so was able to redo it in about half as much time...but it doesn't look quite right.

WOE IS ME!!

I had a collar that I added my ao to. and a few other items that were costly. I crashed one day, wearing the objects and when I relogged, they were missing. It was alot of L's I lost and I sent a report and haven't heard nothing back and this was about three weeks ago or more. If anyone knows of a way to get this stuff replaced or something, I would appreciate it.

I lost a Huddles EZ Animator Deluxe v1.0.4 with a lot of Dance Animations in it from Sine Wave Island..I was quite upset about that. And also lost a wedding ring as well as various textures and notecards.

Touch wood, this has never happenned to me. The only thing I lost from my invo was an item of clothing that mysteriously became something else.

I never had corrupted objects, yet I did have a warning from windows that I had a corrupted texture/file somewhere in SL folders. It asked to do a system check and it did once rebooted. This was yesterday.
