Okay I just moved into a house with a group of friends and we got a big screen tv... They are able to watch it, but I don't see anything :( But the last club I worked in we had tv's and I was able to watch those just fine... I have uninstalled and re-installed Quicktime, but no change.. Can anyone help me trouble shoot this as it is really annoying.. LOL.. Thanks in advance for the help :)

Wish I could help you, I've experienced issues with different movie types on my own parcel that I could see and others couldn't or I couldn't and some could. I have no answer.

This question has nothing to do with " Age Verification!!Age Verification!!

So no one will even look at it :D

Ok ... is you PC switched on ? ..... ok im kiddin ;)

Set up the screen make sure it has somthing showing on it " ask you buddys to tell you " , Now look at the bottom of your screen ... Do you see a movie button with a play sign ?

If yes .. press it .. and enjoy the video .

If not .. go to prefrences and to the adio and video tabb and make sure that the video box is checked and OK out of prefrences .

enjoy the video :)

If this don't work ... make a post about
Age Verification!! and forget all about video's ;)

Did you associate a movie stream URL with the correct texture?

Video in SL, for me anyways, has been a hit or miss thing. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. Perhaps you should verify it's age to ensure that it's old enough to work.

Video doesn't work yet if you are running the Linux client. Are you running the Linux client?

If others could watch it then the answer is an obvious one...

Make sure your video enabling tick box in Prefs hasn't gone and unticked itself :-D Do you have movie controls?

Well thank you to all that replied.. I already knew the obvious about getting it to play ect.. I had gone through all those steps numerous times and the media option never showed up at the bottom... So I uninstalled and re-installed SL last night... Went to properties and changed the Combatability setting to none, well that worked, I had video, but the audio from the radio and background effects is now messed up... So I changed the combatability setting to Windows 2000, same thing... Switched it Windows NT, radio and background noise was okay, but no video... So on that note I guess its a lose lose situation, unless someone knows how to fix this.. LMAO...
