And I wanted to make my first purchase of SL Exchange in world too!
Is this temporary or are other people finding they can't TP as well.
Is this the sign of the end times? First no TP and the no Rez....argh.

I've had to relog numerous times because I couldn't tp. Relogging seems to help for a brief time, then tp fails again. I suspect it's related to the server issues that have been plaguing SL for the past few days.

38,683!!!!

See, this is why I've sold so little today. Conventional thinking dictates that more people logged in means more potential customers and more sales. In reality more people logged in means no one can TP anywhere, everyone has inventory and money issues etc, so no one can buy anything.
The weekend should be boom time for anyone running a retail business in SL. Right now it seems that I can only ever sell anything on either side of the 38,683 hump!
Elitist or not, I want rid of the campers.

I have performed a complete uninstall/reinstall, cleared cache, rebooted machine, etc....
I have NO INVENTORY!!! It's stuck at "Fetched 500 items" for the last 3 hours, and I have over 8,000 items in my inventory normally!
I cannot TP anywhere, and I can only JUST NOW see my avatar after two hours of being invisible.
And not a blog post or acknowledgement in sight. Damnit!

From: Reverend Herzog I've had to relog numerous times because I couldn't tp. Relogging seems to help for a brief time, then tp fails again. I suspect it's related to the server issues that have been plaguing SL for the past few days. It's got nothing to do with the issues of the past few days but rather the past few months. Whenever the number of people logged in at any given time gets too high, around 30K, things start falling apart. There are just too many people trying to use SL. Vale

I've had loads of problems TPing anywhere. In a couple of cases, it not only required me to log out, but to set my location as the sim where I was headed, just to get there.

This works for me... if you have too many attachments, you won't be able to go anywhere. Right click on your avatar and choose "Take Off>" than "Detach All". It will remove all attachments except your pants and shirt. Then try to teleport. You will have to put your attachments back on which is a pain, but no way around it. I wish SL would fix that.

Things to try for failed tp'ing: * try more than once (obvious... but some people only try once) * "Show on Map" and try to tp to a sim close to the destination, 1-3 sims away from it, from there you can usually just tp to the destination instead of having to fly * fly/tp to a different, preferably lag-free sim, sim and try tp'ing from there I hardly have any problems tp'ing, if anything I'd say that in the last week they're noticably faster . The above usually does solve it for when I run into a failed one (and assuming the sim isn't just offline/crashed). Last resort is Ike's trick in detaching everything, or relogging onto the sim itself (Edit / Preferences, General, make sure "Show Start Location" is checked, log off, type the name of the sim in on the start screen, then connect).

Yes. I had the same TP issues. Couldn't TP 9/10 tries so I finally just gave up and logged off. They'll catch up but it's slow going.

Why bother? You'll only end up with your shoes or hair up your arse anyway.

Sometimes removing one or two attachments is sufficient. I usually remove my shoes and then try.
Also, it still seems to be the case that island -> mainland -> island is more reliable then island -> island.
