I need to make this short because I have little time to be dealing with SL's stupid behaviour right now. But I do need to make everyone aware what has just occured.

I reported an object over a month ago that was on my land about 4meters. It was linked to another object so I was unable to remove it from my land. I reported the abuse once. No response. I reported it twice, no response. I then reported it in the forums under land management and it sat for 72 hours with no response. THEN when Guy answered it, instead of fixing the problem, he tells me to tell him where it is again, even though I stated where it was WITH a picture of the problem.

Here we are over a month later, no action has taken place by LL.

So I sell the land over 2 weeks ago and get an email in my box today that stated I have been disciplined for encroachment. One of my walls (that was asked by my friend to place) was returned because I was covering up boobs and the lower half of a woman exposed. Along with it is a link to a porn site. All I did was cover it with a wall ON MY FRIENDS PROPERTY.

So instead of LL asking me to remove it, they just did and sent it to my box. I am laughing because another owners encroaching and reported multiple times is STILL THERE.

I am about to pull my account and stop funding the maddness they are creating. This is wasting time for me to type this and build another freaking wall. Thanks for letting me vent.

you placed the boxes on your friend's land, with your friend's permission?

e-mail LL, and have your friend do the same, explaining that the object was placed there with the friend's permission.

Sounds to me like the sign owner didn't like you blocking their sign, and filed an AR. Since your name is not the same as the owner of the property, there was absolutely no way of confirming that you had permission to put the sign there.

I know that it hurts when you feel you've been wrongfully accused, but in this case it's understandable. The way to prevent this kind of thing in the future is to have your friend put the land in a group, and put you in the group.

...or build the wall then "sell" it for 0L to your friend (original of course).

Don't leave. This is stupid, but try to rise above it.

Good perspective. but there were 3 points that I did not make clear in my first post.

1. It took over 30 days for LL to investigate this matter. 30 days...that is a months worth of tier for the trouble that someone had to patiently wait.

2. We are asked to ask the owner to remove the items first before AR. This was not done by my accuser.

3. The item I reported to LL still has yet to be removed but my 2 AR's were not fulfilled. The item is still there. Why does LL get to pick and choose who they will help. I submitted a complete AR that was replied with "no action taken". Coordinates and pictures were supplied. Its frustrating.

Then I read that LL is going to begin charging for Customer Service? *cough*

I wouldnt leave. I would stop paying the monthly service fee and would not purchase land.

Thank you.
