I got this error message today on several occasions when I was taking times out of a box and putting the in an inventory folder.
Second Life: Items coming in too fast, automatic preview disabled for 10 seconds.
I was only transfering about a dozen vendor items each time, but got this message on 4 different occasions.
I this something new? Possibly part of the antispamming feature?

I got this when I was trying to create new clothing yesterday. I was however clicking the new shirt button several times and didn't realise the items were going into my inventory.

It's a throttle that was introduced in 1.15.1, to address this: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-326Looks like it needs work

its a nice idea, prevents people from getting texture spammed by turning off the preview if too many come too fast. But the idea of what constitutes "too many too fast" needs work.

This happened to me too. Now I have several copies of an item in my inventory. Not a major bug but took me by surprise . Nice to know if that stops spamming...some grieffer dumped hundreds pf pictures of a naked butt in an airplane on me took me forever to delete them all.

Hey, if anyone gets this error message, how bout taking a screenshot of it and posting it in the Error Messages thread in the Gallery forum at /53/54/185927/1.html There might be some actual useful value to this, such as, when you are trying to report an error message precisely but it's gone away already and you don't want to wait for it to reappear before reporting it, but it's really just for the heck of it. Error messages are a part of Second Life and deserve a spot in the history books.
