The technical forum said only ask things to do with SL, this forum didnt =really= say that that I saw so I`m asking here, it has nothing to do with SL though. So if this isnt allowed, sorry.
Anyway, Im locked out of one of my old laptops running Win 2000 pro and was hoping maybe someone here knew what to do so I didnt have to register elsewhere and post on another board.
Im only aware of it having one account (that i always use whenever i use it) and that account has admin priveleges. However, im locked out due to too many failed attempts to log in (I have not logged in for so long that i had forgotten my password)
I searched all over google and they say you need to log into your admin account and change the locked out users permission- but this locked out user is the only account I know of and it also hold admin abilities (If there IS a default admin account on there I dont know what it is nor do I know the password)
Is there an -easy- way to get on or do I have to restore win 2000 and lose my account? I have a bunch of files on there I was trying to get to, now am locked out.
