Thats right,,, a twitch. About two weeks ago, I noticed that every so often, my AV,,twitches. As if I have a nervous condition. I'm sure you've seen people who involuntarily jerk their head to the right or left. A spasm could also be used to explain it.

Has any one else experienced this,, and if so,,, is there a solution? I hate having this,,, 'jerky effect',, plague me!

* Fixed VWR-1217: Built-in avatar animations stop suddenly, rather than fading out. (jerky head movement)

Should be "fixed" with tomorrow's update. Just one more day :).

See, and all this time I thought a Linden with a sense of humour introduced that "twitch" as a "feature" to reflect all the nervous twitching we do IRL whenever the SL bugs get to be too much. :D

I like all this realism. Avatars squint if you point at their nose lately. Now they develop a nervous twitch. I just hope they won't die someday, as my prim ducks occasionally do (always managed to revive them so far).

i sometimes get that twitch when my AO is off and i move my mouse either far left or right. i never knew it was a bug til now though cause once i move my mouse(arrow) back towards center, it stopped.

There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

There's also the Parkinson effect when you set the camera to a point close to the avatar. A constant, fast head trembling. Quite annoying and gone as soon as you alt-click somewhere else.

See! I thought I had developed Tourettes' syndrome!
Everyone was mentioning the crossed eyed thing while I have some mad tick or hicups.

*edit* Oh hm now see this posting was from May :?
I still have it! *twitches*

*grins* I am hoping that the new viewer will come with a fix for the 'crossed eyes.' While I find it amusing to have my poor avatar posed on a pose stand and her eyes go cross, it's rather annoying while this happens when I am trying to take an actual ad shot.

There is a whole SL avatar pathology which has yet to be fully documented, ranging from invisible avatar, assorted structural abnormalities, involuntary movements, squints and spasms.

Starting an avatar hospital could be a business opportunity?

Is this just me, or does the twiching get worse as Wednesdays approach?

Maybe my mouse hand just gets shakier as the anticipated client upgrade draws nearer.
