With this latest version if you fly around a bit, maybe teleport from place-to-place, particles become sporadic, then just stop working altogether. If you log out and back in, they reappear.
Is anyone else experiencing this same problem?

hmm, I saw this happen yesterday for the first time. I pulled a fireball out of my inventory but saw nothing. A friend could see it. I relogged and then I could see it.
