You need to package them.

Create a prim, put the t-shirt inside, create artowork for the prim and texture the prim with the artwork. (Presentation, and a good product :), is key)

Set the prim for sale, I set it to "give contents" and it gives the buyer a folder with the items they bought. The folder takes on the name of the prim so make sure you name your prim something like: Your store Name> Name of Tee

Once you have that all done you need to find somewhere to sell. For a beginner it might be good for you to go and rent vendor space at a highly populated mall so that you get noticed and don`t have to worry about putting up classifieds.

Check "popular places" list and see if any of them have spots for rent, but don`t limit yourself to just the popular places, there are other good malls out there.

Also...watch out for malls with "fake dwell" you can find those easily by seeing anyone sitting in a chair that says a certain amount of L$ per a certain amount of minutes. Those are called campers and they are there not to shop but just to get people on the popular places list. Also, pick up some free vendors to start...I started with the MVG system...but I'd also look for "Hibrid" (Hybrid). When you start doing well I'd recommend getting a JEVN system if you own land or can rent land to hold the servers.

Also....check out putting them up on SLExchange (http://www.slexchange.com) and SLBoutique (http://www.slboutique.com). They will host their server prims on their own land for you.

Don't forget the SL exchange, as well. Although you will need somewhere you can keep your Magic Box at.

Yes SLExchange.com and SLBoutique.com are always worth a shot. If you have a place to store their magic boxes, listing items on them is free. (other than the time required to set up your items there).

The problem with these stores is that they are chock full of stuff (especially clothes). This makes product differentiation difficult (especially if you're a new designer like me).

I'm still working on that problem of making my designs more visible to potential buyers. If I come up with any good ideas I'll be sure to let you know.

SLExchange charges a commision on each sell, though listing the item is free.

SLBoutique charges no commisions and no listing fees. It is totally free for the seller and buyer.

I also believe you need to have your items "boxed" before being able to sell on slboutique/exchange

Send me an IM in SL incase I forget later and I'll send you both the MVG and the Hibrid. I'll be in later. All vendor systems come with some sort of setup instructions. I prefer recommending MVG and Hibrid since they are the less laggy ones than some of the others that are out there. Hibrid causes NO LAG at all actually.
