I am looking to finally own land for the first time, and I am having trouble finding a home. I was told to stick with something that's around 30 x 45 since I am by myself right now, and that should be fine. Only thing is, I can't find anything around that size that I like. I was wondering what some of the finer shops in SL are that sell prefab homes?

Search Places or Classifieds for "prefab" (without quotes).

There is one person that sells great homes for only L$200 each -- even huge ones. I cannot remember his name....maybe someone else can find him and post his name here.

You should also shop for a home that uses about 30% of the total prims your land supports. So if you have 512m of land you should look for a home that uses roughly 35 prims (30% of 117 prims)...that leaves 70% of the prims for decorations and other stuff -- it adds up really quickly.

Look for "low prim" (without quotes) furnishings too ... makes a huge difference no matter how much land you have.

I'm about four days away from opening my showroom for my first pre-fab design, specifically designed to be as stylish as possible within a 32-prim limit.

If you're interested in a sneak preview, I can let you into the showroom this evening or weekend to see the house. No obligation to buy, and I'd love a chance to test out the marketing setup and get feedback on the design.

Don't forget free things! Check at Yadni's and at the NCI store. There is a pretty pretty treehouse at NCI.

My favorite little house is the C9 skyhouse cause it's like a giant habitrail.
