Lost items...or maybe not??

I've been very busy building in the past few days, in doing so, I've been running about SL buying things that I've needed. Now to get to the meat of the problem.

These items that I've purchased are NOT in my inventory...nowhere. I've searched for them by name (garnered from my transaction history) and nothing. Clearly the money has been taken from me and paid to the seller, but the items are not there. Unfortunately for me, the people that I've purchased from are either never online, use a 2nd account or just plain don't respond to messages as I've gotten no response.

Has there been some kind of bug in the last 3 days or so that inventory has been disappearing? It hasn't happened to everything I've purchased, just some things.

A bug in the last 3 days? No, this is a long time problem, do some searching on this forum and you will see a handful of threads on the topic. Sorry that the missing inventory issue has hit you as well, hopefully some of the sellers respond soon.

It's not just you... over the weekend, I purchased a dress at one shop, didn't check my inventory until I got home, then no where's to be found. I had to buy it again. Then Sunday, I bought four garden items at a well know garden shop and also did not receive even one of them. I went back to the garden shop and attempted to re-purchase one of the items again... stayed there to check my inventory... nothing, so I gave up trying to get those lily pads that I wanted

I did purchase other items throughout the weekend at other places without a problem.

Happened to me last night. Two outfits just purchased. Gone. The designer was good enough to replace both. It's teh most maddening bug ever.

What's worse, is, the Lindens think that the problem has been fixed.

Try sending a notecard to the individual about your situation. They should know whats going on and I don't see issues as long as its not transferable.

You will be notified when they decline/accept. Then you will know if they are not online for long periods of time.

Just by the way, I had a new (for me) version of the problem: Yesterday I tried to rez something on my land, got the infamous blue Failure to Rez warning, but the object stayed in my Inventory. Or so I thought, till I logged in today, and it had vanished. (Before, in my experience, it always just went to Inventory-heaven right away, if it was gonna.) Luckily the merchant was incredibly nice about it and I got a replacement right away.

I really wonder if the developers think they've fixed this... the jira is such a shambles on all the different Inventory-related defect reports and feature requests, I can't tell what they think they've fixed and what they think is still a problem. (I suspect they can't tell, either.)

the past three or more days, a bit over a 1000L, plus half a newly purchased house ugh, I just ate that off to my newby weak building skills, so I am not shopping a bit till things get resolved, and I get better/SL older. It's also been hard to down load images to SL, and place an ad today. I keep getting server issue notes, but yet when checked on this end, it is only SL having the issues. I do hope the Ls are working on this as it seems to still be an on-going issue.

exactly that happened to me last weekend. lost 1k L$.... first time for me since i came to sl. i was so mad. (i didn´t get a replacement) well at least i learned never to buy no copy stuff again
