No, really... I am

Found this in the blob:

3PM SLT We’ve found a glitch in the walking animations - we expect to be down until 6PM SLT

6PM SLT The update has numerous issues. We will be addressing these in future updates. We expect to be up by 9PM SLT

9PM SLT The grid is open for logins

9:12PM SLT Users report that female avatars are unable to wear clothes from the waist up. We are currently looking hard at this situation.

9:20PM SLT UPDATE: Another glitch has surfaced. All male avatars are appearing as female avatars. Toplessness is affecting all users. We expect to address this issue in a forthcoming update. Really.

9:30PM SLT UPDATE: We thought we had the walking animation nailed, unfortunately no one is able to move once logged in. However chat is still functional.

9:45PM SLT UPDATE: Due to numerous complaints about unavoidable partial nudity, and guys complaining about looking like women after a half hour or so of self-examination, we are disabling all visual components. However, chat is still available.

9:48PM SLT UPDATE: We are addressing the reported lag, due to an unexpected level of chat. We are currently examining reports of IM’s being broadcast to all users. This is no time to be having sex. We are watching this situation closely.

10:00 PM SLT We have a new look on the blog! We now have FOUR columns! We hope this makes things a lot more good and stuff. We are planning a Town Hall Meeting in the near future to discuss adding a fifth column. We will keep you updated.

GOLD :D

....except that you don't seem to realize that your run of the mill website/blog technician is not trained nor able to fix anything in Second Life's server and client code base.

Everybody has the job they're best at. Just be glad that at least the Blog is improving, WHILE everybody else is working their butts off fixing the system.

I'm pretty sure Linden Lab is like a beehive at the moment. Now imagine a beehive where all the bees would suddenly start feeding the queen or fixing some things in the honeycombs... it'd be a chaotic disaster, the hive still needs nannys, guards, gatherers and explorers.

That's what is know as parody. Apparently a very good one, too.

Alright! That is the best post ever....lol. I just tipped you 1 billion Linden dollars in world. Wait...you didn't get it? Hmm...LL must be looking into it and it will be resolved in the really really distant future....or never.

;)

I love being sarcastic....

:bgh: <----Don't ask....

The blog is changing. Not all change is improvement. The blog has changed for the worse, in my view. The columns overlap each other in places, in Internet Explorer 6. The popup over links feature can't be disabled in the Opera browser. The blog layout defies optimal enlargement using Opera's page zoom feature.

Inigo, that really broke the sour mood I had about being offline. Thanks for posting that. Hilarious.
