LL doesn't really need premium accounts. What it needs is a demand for the linden dollar, which isn't really measured by that statistic shown in the article.

You can get a sense for the demand of L$ from Supply Linden's sales since their aim is to keep everything stable, so less demand means less need for Supply Linden to create new L$.

For LL's sake, I hope this month's statistics are inaccurate since they've only sold L$15 million so far and it's already the 10th.

Hmmm... could that be because gamblers and casino owners dumped a lot of L$s onto the Lindex on their way out, so the Lindens haven't needed to mint as much to keep stable the exchange rate?
