Group IM's

OK I'm sick and tired of seeing everyone complain that messages posted in group IM's whether they be informative or not are spam. If you don't want to receive group IM's then leave the group, easy as that. You won't ever see that which bothers you no more. So STFU and get over yourself or just leave. I'm an a..hole and I approve this message. Thank you.

First thing, you said it yourself about what you are.

Second - it's not a matter of things being "informative" - if it's not relevant to that group's purpose or is only relevant to the group owner/officers, take it to the proper persons. It's not that hard.

Haha, I laugh so hard when someone IMs the Council of Wyrms group and there's an explosion of people saying "wrong group" or "omg spam". I make a game of it to try and type "In before complaints" before anyone else replies.

Leaving the group is sometimes not a option. For example some of MY groups get spammed. I'm not going to leave it I'm just going to eject the mofo. If they don't like it, they need to grow up and learn some common sense. The chat system in SL can be annoying since it relays your message non consensually to everyone in the group. If it's a group of interest to you, you shouldn't have to leave it.

But yes, spotz has reason to laugh about it. I laugh myself about it.
