This crew are paying noobs to spam for them.

Here's my question, is this against the TOS?

PLEASE NOTE:

HUD activation
When you wear for the first time the b.places HUD please wait before you pass it on to another Avatar until the HUD gives you the message: Your HUD is now fully activated!
Usually this message appears shortly after you wear the HUD. In some rare cases this might take up to 30 second due to Second Life performance, security and technical issues.

How to Pass the HUD to another Avatar
Access your inventory list, usually you find the HUD in the folder called Objects. The HUD file is called b.places HUD. Simply drag and drop the file to any Avatar. Note that to pass it, you have to detach it from yourself for a moment. Alternatively get a free second HUD at any Voting Box and you will always be able to drag and drop this one to pass it on!
Be aware that you need to have worn any HUD's at least once before you can pass it on to another Avatar with compensation!

My HUD doesn’t work properly on some Islands
Some islands do restrict scripts. You can recognize this on top of the Second Life client. Its is a crossed red circle with a script symbol. In this case not all functionalities of the HUD work. In this case simply use the Second Life client to teleport. As soon as Scripts are allowed again you HUD will work again. If not detach and attached the HUD again.

My HUD stopped working
If for any reason your HUD stops working properly simply detach and attached it again. This will restart the HUD. If it still doesn’t work please go to a voting BOX and click it to receive a new HUD.

Well, this explains why people keep dumping things on me when I'm in the sandboxes. I wonder if this thing takes into account declined inventory offers?

Yes, it's spam and yes, it's AR-able. AR the person, decline the offer and never rez anything given to you by someone you aren't buying from or don't know. Or if you decide to rez it.. go to a non-script sandbox.

Possibly THE best solution to the money raking scam, but I have a few questions on that (as I'm not a scriptor).

1) Would that stop this function as it's basically an embedded function in SL (transfering L$ that is).

2) Would the script 'fire' once you leave the no-script sim? I know if I'm in a no-script sim and forget and click on one of my scripted HUDs or attachments, nothing happens, but when I leave that area, what I clicked takes effect.

*goes back to BASIC*
IF 1=YES AND 2=NO THEN; YAYAAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!

lol, sorry. Wierd humor this morning =^.^=

Dude, you are a true and good friend, and I love you like the brother that my mom claims she never had, but you are in fact acting like a flaming douche on white toast with a side order of dickknob salsa..maybe you should reconsider this course of action and we go find something else to do.

I can run a few of my attachments in no-script area, though I'm not sure if they would run if they were not attached. Now I gotta go find out, haha.

I've seen that several times myself. Again, usually with HUD attachments. I got some experimenting to do today.

It's been so many years since I've done basic that I am not sure, but shouldn't that semicolon be a colon?

Okay, I'm surprised at this but I think this HUD idea is pretty nifty. It gives noobs money, gets them exploring SL and since they are doing the voting, creates a directory of places to see.

It has a flight assist, etc. and it is better than camping as it gets people out exploring and seeing SL.

The only thing that needs to be changed I think is the person to ask if the receiver would like to have it.

Disclaimer: I have no connection to this at all and just heard of it in this thread.

I believe b.places is being sponsored by a major corporation. As such, I have a funny feeling that ARs would be placed in the circular file.
