Since a few days ago, whenever I checked my inventory, I noticed that some folders didnt have their contents. Today, I decided to download the update and see if it would fix it. So I downloaded it and logged back on, only to see that it didnt really do anything.
Any furniture in their own folders are missing, including EVERY SINGLE HAIR BUT ONE I have bought since Feb 2006. This is a big problem for me because 75% of my inventory consists of hair. I have almost every single ETD hair and all of the discontinued ones. Basically, I am very upset with the situation. If anyone can tell me whats wrong, it would be great.

Before you log off next time, note down the number of items your inventory says you have now (at the top of the inventory window).
Then Edit / Preferences (if you're already logged off, just click on Preferences at the start-up screen): * under General, make sure you have "Show Start Location" checked * under Network, click clear cache
Log off if you have SL open and reopen it, under your name you'll notice you have a space of a sim to connect to directly, type: Hahne
And then just connect as normal. Hahne is an all-water sim and there will be nothing there to slow anything down and nothing that needs any rezzing.
Open your inventory and type anything random in the inventory search bar, and then just wait until it stops saying "Fetched...".
If you had the count from before, compare the two numbers, hopefully the second will be larger and note it down again.
Rinse and repeat that until you have the same count two log-ons in a row and then start going through your folders to see if everything isn't back now.
