I am creating my very first poll, it is very straight forward and there are only two options.
After reading the various posts on this forum for the last three days, it seems that many of you are land bots users, or supporters of such activities, while many of us do not like land bots.
If you want to comment, it's ok, but really, this poll is not intended to encourage more arguments. I love waterfalls, you might prefer skyscrapers... fine, everyone is free.
I also want to mention that my ignore list is expanding everyday. So, if I don't reply to your post don't be surprised. That's the way I enjoy life, away from opposite forces...
Let see what'll happen.

.
Not sure where you get this idea because its actualy quite the opposite Its different someone saying that bots are allowed because LL says so and endorsing the use of em. You will find most people dont want em but there comes a time when you have to realize who is driving the car this is one of those times. There are some issues out of our control and this is one of them however peopel can try to lobby to have this fixed. Its been done before with the copybot bot and it worked the problem is that the people affected by this have to get more proactive or nothing will change, but lately the community has become more and more dysfunctional over some issues and people just post the same complaint over and over again but dont actually try to deal with the problem in a better way. for the end user though bots were preceeded by land flippers who did pretty much the same thing only a bit slower but the fact of the matter was that the same things happened as they seemed to live online all day and all night and ther was no way to get land at a decent price and land flippers just like bots purchased land priced in error and land flippers just like bots (who are run by land flippers now..) in some cases didn't return the land purchased due to a pricing error. Bots just help land flippers flip land faster then before is all the end result is still the same its just that people had more time to correct mistakes but I will tell you i underpriced land to get rid of it before bots were in the picture and the land was still gone in less then a minute..

I do believe I am on your so called ignore list, so I don't expect a reply. But that's okay.
You misunderstand my position, I think. Am I in favor of landbots? No. They take up names for accounts, they take up resources in the system, and when I want to BUY land they can ruin my fun. As far as selling land goes, that's another position. I make sure my land sales are done correctly, so they don't affect me.
Do I think they are against the rules? No, I don't. And I wont force someone to give up the right to use them. If Linden Labs chose to remove them though, I definitely wouldn't cry about it. I like a lagless SL myself.
Just my position.

"Oh my god, someone supports the other side, I must put them on ignore because they don't view the world EXACTLY HOW I DO!" Mmmhmm.

i did not vote because i do not agree with either statement
do i like bots? no i do think that they push the limits of the TOS with others enjoyment and all that, they have not effected me at all
do i want them gone, couldn't care less, weather its a person raping the populas for profit or a macro its still the same to me ,... land speculation in SL IMO is the least creative way to scrape a buck off of SL ever

Of course content creators do much more. Especially if they are adding things of use and beauty like Ace Albion or Lilith Heart.

From: Gina Jacks I get the idea by reading, the threads extend and the same people keep coming with contradictions, and they are also very opinionated. people posting to forums about a subject usually have an opinion so your right they are opinionated but so are you You also seem to think that your opinion is more valuable then others and kind of lash out at people as a result half the people posting to these threads have some vested intersest in NOT having bots in the picture but as stated by more then just me there are many issues and some are not really "deal withable" on this forum and this is one. LInden labs is very aware of the problem and when they decide its enough of a problem they will deal with it so posting 789698 threads on the subject over and over again doesn't do much really plus its the wrong forum for all these threads

If you can't work this out by ourself and need people to tell you what they think, that's your choice. Now, you like arguing, I don't, it's your second post and you are having a go at me, who are you? Do I know you? Did I mention your name anywhere? NO. So, we are not going to be friends and I don't like when someone put me down for no good reason. If you don't like the thread, no body is forcing to participate. If you have something good to say, say it, but with the comments you have just made we are going nowhere. you have a direct opinion about me, Gina, me, I have a direct opinion about people who support the abusers of land bots. I am not interested in you. Are you interested in me? I am taken. Sorry. Still wouldn't go for someone like you if I was free. Without threads, there is no hope. What are you going to do? Nothing. All you seem to be able to do is contradict me, that's all you are good at so far. Did you say anything nice? no. If the threads expand and survive, we will get noticed, but the problem is that people like you have very little faith and think they know better than anyone else, and comments like you made are no signs of wanting something to be done.. You had your chance, two post, directed to me, yet, even a 5 year old child could see that you are being unfriendly to me. Therefore you end up on my ignore list. I am not going to keep answering posts like that, It will be random.

You don't like arguing? Blah blah blah. You don't like arguing, then gtfo. I don't believe that for a second when you relish running around telling people they are hypocrites, threatining to put them all on ignore, and starting threads like this one. You are just as bad as anyone else here, and I actually love the fact that you can't read what I am writing >.> I have an urge to hijack this thread into something else. If we had some unicorns that'd be really awesome... Or something. <.< Yeah....

Yeah? Could it talk? I always wondered if Unicorns could talk, or if they were like... telepathic, or something... I mean, even drunken hallucination Unicorns.

You know, actually if I saw a talking animal, Unicorn or otherwise, I'd either run away screaming, or throw something at it.
Could you imagine if your pets could talk? lol...
